Born in Beirut, the engineer Wissam Achour graduated in 1991 from the Lebanese University with a Bachelor Degree in civil engineer soon founded his own real estate office.

Previously known as “The Office of Eng. Mohamad Wissam Achour”, Achour Development proved its solid reputation in construction and property development through several residential and commercial projects.

Since 1991, Eng. Wissam Achour started his successful career by diversifying his own business through acquiring and creating a group of companies.

A quick glimpse of his achievements begins in 2007 with the possession of “Lancaster Hotel Raouche”, in 2008 another hotel joined the group “Lancaster Suites Raouche” in addition to the acquisition of “Rawdah high School” (Founded in 1961) and the creation of new car rental company – Lima rent a car –

The vision of Eng. Wissam Achour continues to focus on growth and prosperity, in 2013 the five-star Lancaster Plaza Beirut joined the group and introduced a new spirit into the hotel chain.

In 2015, Eng Wissam Achour embarked into the health and fitness sector by establishing a highly equipped Gym & SPA “180 degrees” which quickly became the largest gymnasium in Beirut.

The path to success was achieved in 2018 with the inauguration of a five-star "Lancaster Eden Bay" hotel, one of Beirut's most luxurious retreats.

Eng. Wissam Achour achieved another success in the industrial sector by launching one of the largest projects in the industrial city of Tebna.

In 32 years, the group has expanded its borders in different business sectors, including insurance and travel and tourism services.
